A brand-new May'd it Homes street at dusk: finished craftsman homes with glowing windows on one side, a home still in wood framing on the other.
May’d it Homes — from raw dirt to front door

You’ve May’d it home.

Home is your “it.” Let’s go get it. We buy the field, move the dirt, build the street, and raise the homes — our own crews, every step — in new communities across Washington built for people chasing their first front door.

Why May’d it

Four promises. In writing.

Buying your first new-construction home is scary for exactly two reasons: surprise costs and slipped timelines. We built this company to delete both.

The price we quote is the price you close at.

Lot premiums, upgrades, and fees itemized up front — before you sign anything. No surprise line items at the closing table. Ever.

A timeline we actually control.

We grade our own land and frame our own homes — we’re not waiting on someone else’s subcontractor. You get a move-in window we stand behind, plus a weekly build update with photos.

Monthly-payment honesty.

We talk monthly payment, not just sticker price — taxes, insurance, and the energy bill included. Insulation, windows, and appliances are specced to cut the bill you pay every month, not to win us an award.

Our name stays on your street.

We keep homes in every community we build and rent them out ourselves. We’re not flipping a subdivision and leaving — our name and our money stay on your street for the long haul.

Before & after May’d it

Drag the line. Watch it happen.

Two real photographs, taken from the same spot on the same street: the raw, staked lot the day we walked it — and the finished home the day we handed over the keys. Drag the line between them.

Comparison slider of two photographs taken from the same spot: before — the raw, staked dirt lot the day we walked it; after — the finished craftsman home glowing at dusk. Drag the slider to reveal each view.

Drag the handle, tap anywhere on the photo, or use your arrow keys. Same lot, same camera, same sky — just a few ferocious months apart.

Our process

Step by step. Street by street.

Most builders buy finished lots and start at step five. We start at step one — it’s why our timelines hold and our prices stay honest.

01

Find the land

We walk raw parcels other builders won’t touch and pay owners a fair price — no middlemen marking up the dirt.

02

Prove it pencils

Soil, zoning, utilities, and the math — checked in days, not months. If a site doesn’t work, we walk away before it becomes your problem.

03

Win the approvals

Permits, plats, and public hearings — handled by people who do it every week, so the paperwork never stalls your street.

04

Move the dirt

Roads, water, sewer, stormwater, power — built by our own civil crews. This is where 15–20% of the cost comes out and stays out of your price.

05

Raise the homes

Modular speed with craftsman finish — foundation to final walkthrough in 3–5 months, with a photo update in your inbox every Friday.

06

Hand over the keys

A real walkthrough, a written warranty, and a builder who still lives with the result — because we keep homes on your street too.

Step by step. Ferociously.

That’s the family motto. It’s how we build — and honestly, it’s how you saved up for this house. We figure you deserve a builder who works the same way.

Inside the operation

There’s a whole company behind your street.

Building neighborhoods takes more than hammers. Three businesses and a shared-services backbone work together on every lot — and we publish how the whole machine is organized.

Two ways in

Buy it. Or rent it first.

Because we keep homes in our own communities, you can move in before you buy in. Nobody else on the street will know which one you picked.
